Material didático um depoimento
Resumo
O texto apresenta um depoimento sobre a produção de material didático de
Língua Portuguesa, centrado na produção de textos, destinado aos alunos
universitários. Começando por assinalar a impossibilidade prática de cada
professor elaborar seu próprio material, o que seria o ideal, o autor enumera
alguns pontos básicos indispensáveis para um bom material de ensino da
língua: partir de uma perspectiva mais lingüística que normativa; compreender
a norma culta como uma das variedades da língua e uma variedade não
mais calcada unicamente nos textos literários; marcar a distinção entre
oralidade e escrita; perceber a distinção entre padrão real e padrão normativo.
Do ponto de vista da prática da escrita, valorizar sempre o texto e não a
frase, sem descuidar dos aspectos estritamente técnicos do que se escreve, e
ter em vista sempre a distinção sutil entre informação e opinião, em torno
das quais, afinal, se articula boa parte do que se chama hoje de língua padrão.
Didactic material a testimony
Abstract
This text presents a testimony about production of didactic material for
Portuguese language that focuses text production and is destined to college
students. The author starts pointing the impossibility of each teacher
elaborate its own material, what would be ideal, he also enumerates some
indispensable points for a good language teaching material: use a mainly
linguistic perspective than a normative one; to understand standard language
as just one variety of language and a variety that is not anymore only based on literary texts; to point the distinction between oral and written language;
to notice the distinction between real standard language and the normative
one. From the point of view of the practice of writing, didactic material
should always pay more attention to text in spite of phrase, of course
without loosing the horizon of strictly technique aspects on which is being
written; and always having attention to the subtle distinction between
information and opinion, around of what, after all, is articulated great part of
what is called today standard language.
