About the Journal

The aims of AtoZ are as follows:To provide a venue for promoting greater visibility for young researchers who normally face difficulties when attempting to publish their first articles and/or works related to topics that have not yet been consolidated in traditional publication venues.

To create opportunities for dissemination of articles that have stemmed from theses, dissertations, term papers, and papers presented as requisites for course conclusion in the fields of information science, information management, information technology and knowledge management. To provide a venue for the publication of academic works that are directed towards methodological studies and interdisciplinary applications.

A boa notícia é que a AtoZ passou a integrar o ranking do ScimagoJournal Rank de 2023 e é a quinta colocada no ranking nacional da área de Library and Information Sciences. O SCImagoJournal Rank (SJR) é um indicador bibliométrico desenvolvido pela SCImago. Sua finalidade é mostrar a visibilidade dos periódicos indexado na base de dados Scopus, da editora Elsevier, desde 1996. O indicador é baseado em métricas como o número de citações recebidas, o número de artigos publicados e outros critérios de qualidade.
