Thirty years is more than just a chronological milestone; it is a testament to constant evolution. As we celebrate this anniversary of the Archives of Veterinary Science (AVS), we look back with pride and forward with the boldness that has always defined our journey.

Since our first steps under the inspiring vision of our founder, Prof. Metry Bacila, AVS has established itself as a pillar of scientific dissemination. What began as a record of research has transformed into an ecosystem of innovation. Today, we deliver more than just articles; we deliver knowledge in multiple formats, integrating academic rigor with the dynamism of digital media and podcasts, bringing science closer to everyday professional life.

More Than Indicators: A Legacy

While growth in Qualis rankings and editorial excellence are constant goals, our true essence lies in human and technical impact. AVS is built by people: dedicated researchers, an untiring editorial board, and, above all, a community that believes Veterinary Medicine is the engine for a global One Health approach.

In this commemorative edition, we reaffirm our commitment to being at the vanguard. We honor the masters who paved this path—such as Prof. Bacila and the new Academy members who shine in our pages—and we open the doors to the next generation of scientists who will shape the next 30 years.
