Abstract

Objetivo: traducir, adaptar y validar una escala de evaluación de las habilidades para el examen físico para el contexto brasileño y medir la frecuencia con que las enfermeras brasileñas realizan estas habilidades.

Método: estudio metodológico realizado entre septiembre de 2021 y agosto de 2022 en Vitória, Espírito Santo. Se tradujo y adaptó transculturalmente una escala según Fortes CPDD y Araújo AP. El instrumento fue evaluado por jueces, con validez de contenido y aplicado a enfermeros. Se utilizó estadística descriptiva e inferencial para analizar los datos.

Resultados: la escala fue traducida, adaptada y validada, alcanzando equivalencia semántica y conceptual (índice de validez de contenido: 0,99 para claridad y 0,98 para relevancia). Al aplicarla, el 80% de las competencias se realizaban con frecuencia. Conclusión: después de la traducción, adaptación y validación, el instrumento se tornó viable para aplicación en investigaciones relacionadas a la enfermería brasileña, lo que podrá contribuir para la mejoría de los cuidados prestados.
