RECORDS AND PRODUCTION OF A RESEARCH GROUP

Documental research, descriptive, quanti-qualitative aiming to describe the research lines of a research
group and evaluate its scientific production. The Group of Studies, Research and Extension on Human Nursing Care has
four research lines: Theoretical and Philosophical Fundamentals on Health and Nursing Caring; health, education and
nursing policies and practice; health and nursing caring process; health and quality of life; there are other non-recorded
existing lines in the group and in the Graduation Program. Caring Process in Health and Nursing Line accounts for 30.2%
of total projects, productions and educational guidance, thus impacting the Program. Human Nursing Care – home health
care line accounts for 19% of the productions, identifies the researcher, but it is not registered either in the group or in the
Program. The reflection and discussion of the situation as well as the elaboration of new pathways have contributed for
the advancement of nursing knowledge.
