BALANCED SCORECARD: A BIBLIOMETRIC STUDY ABOUT THE ACADEMIC PRODUCTION OF THE2001-2011 DECADE IN BRAZIL

Presently, beyond the dyad of content and process, the researchers are looking for tools for monitoring and measurement strategy. Among the existing tools, we highlight the BSC, with practical applicability and befitting the needs of the new economy. The purpose of this article is guided in performing the mapping features of academic productions, on the subject Balanced Scorecard, coming from the Annual Meetings of the National Association of Postgraduate Programs in Business Administration - ENANPADs. Performs for both, a bibliometric study with a total of 56 publications, the years 2001 to 2011, based on an analysis of eight distinct categories, which range from the amount of papers published per event, to methodological aspects and most cited authors. Enables ascertain, from the results, which elements are most commonly viewed in productions relating to this subject, mapping the field for future work.
