Focus and Scope
RC&C. publishes original theoretical or empirical contributions related to accounting, management control, or finance, and their informational characteristics in different socioeconomic and business contexts.
Manuscripts should address topics within the following broad areas: Financial Accounting, Accounting Theory, Management Control, Cost Accounting, Governmental and Nonprofit Accounting, Auditing and Forensics, Finance, Teaching, Education, and Research in Accounting and Finance.
Mission
The mission of RC&C. – Journal of Accounting and Management Control is to disseminate high-quality scientific research in the fields of Accounting, Management Control, and Finance.
Objective
RC&C. aims to publish and disseminate original theoretical or empirical research, developed by Brazilian or international scholars, that represents relevant contributions to the advancement of accounting knowledge.
Publication Frequency
RC&C., established in July 2008 as an exclusively electronic version, is a free digital journal of the Graduate Program in Accounting at the Department of Accounting – Sector of Applied Social Sciences – Federal University of Paraná. Until 2024, the journal was published quarterly; starting in 2025, it adopted a continuous publication model.
