Abstract

Objetivo: conocer y comprender las percepciones y significados atribuidos a la identidad biográfica y relacional de ser enfermera por el grupo social que actuó como director del Departamento e Divisão de Enfermagem do Hospital Universitário da Universidade de São Paulo (Departamento y División de Enfermería del Hospital Universitario de la Universidad de São Paulo).

Método: estudio socio-histórico con enfoque cualitativo. La recogida de datos tuvo lugar entre marzo y noviembre de 2017. Se utilizó como referencia teórica la teoría de Claude Dubar. Se realizaron once entrevistas, que se analizaron mediante la técnica del Análisis del Discurso.

Resultados: surgieron dos categorías. El primero destacó el proceso de articulación, la práctica asistencial y el programa de Integración Docente-Asistencial, y abordó aspectos relacionados con el poder y el modelo-referencia. El segundo enumeró el papel del profesor/director y hacía hincapié en cuestiones relacionadas con el reconocimiento y el respeto.

Conclusión: este estudio puede contribuir al reconocimiento y visibilidad del área de Enfermería, especialmente en el ámbito asistencial, de gestión y docencia.
