The study has as objective to do a conceptual analysis of the aspects that involve culture in health institutions andprofessionals’ individual identity involved with patients’ caring action. Thus, it tries to focus on the following subjects: organizationalculture; the construction process of health institutions and the organizational culture; the subject’s identity in the organization; the roleof individual culture in health institutions.
