Through reflections about the thematic of suffering, this study considers the importance of the experience of suffering in a humanized health care. It emphasizes the history of human suffering as well as the need for a better comprehension of the ones who are suffering. It also evidences the necessity of being well received and establishing links with the health professional and teren be able to open ways to be with the other as well as amplify the comprehension of the process of living.
