Focus and Scope

The mission of Revista Contabilidade e Controladoria - RC&C (Journal of Accounting and Controlling) is to disseminate high-quality scientific research in the area of Accountancy, Controllership, and Finance.

The Revista Contabilidade e Controladoria - RC&C (Journal of Accounting and Controlling) aims to publish and disseminate original empirical or theoretical research, produced by Brazilian and foreign faculty, researchers, students and professionals, which represent outstanding contributions to the development of accounting knowledge.

Publication Frequency

The Revista de Contabilidade & Controladoria (Journal of Accounting & Controlling), established in July 2009 in eletronic version only, is a journal published every four months, digital and free, published by Program Graduate Accounting Accounting Department - Department of Applied Social Sciences - Federal University of Paraná.

Open Access Policy

The journal offers free access to its content. Access to read the full articles must be preceded by registration on the journal website: www.ser.ufpr.br/rcc.

Languages

Papers may be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

Focus

The Revista de Contabilidade e Controladoria publishes original contributions, theoretical or empirical, related to accounting, finance and controllership in different socio-economic and business scenarios.

The texts should address issues related to the following broad areas: Financial Accounting, Accounting Theory, Controllership, Cost Management, Governmental and Third Sector Accounting, Forensic Accounting, Audit, Finance, Teaching, Education and Research in Accounting and Finance.

Submission

Papers submitted to the journal must be original, ie, can not have been published in another journal in Brazil or abroad.

It is desirable that the submitted papers have been presented at national or international conferences. Authors must disclose such a situation at the time of submission.

The recommended maximum number of authors is three (3), but it will be permitted the maximum of five (5).

It will not be accepted new authors after submission.
