Este artigo propõe uma reflexão sobre o processo de construção do mito gerado acerca do ambiente e da paisagem do Pantanal, devidamente percebidos e valorados como modelos de paraíso terrestre, para serem usufruídos pela atividade turística. Portanto, acredita-se ser necessário desvelar o mito de Pantanal- Paraíso, assim como as contradições expressas pela expansão do turismo que se consolida na região a partir da lógica de mercado, legitimando-se através do dualismo sociedade-natureza.
Feeling Paradise in the Pantanal: some thoughts over perception and environmental values
Abstract
This paper analises the construction of the mith around the environment and the landscape of Pantanal. The mith is perceived as paradises model to be enjoyed for tourism activities. In this perspective, it unveils the mith of Pantanal-Paradise like the contradiction that emerges through expansion of tourisms activities oriented for the markets logical.
