Abstract

In this work, the reader will find information about the genesis of Saint Evita, the very well known book by the Argentinian writer Tomás Eloy Martínez. The work also presents some assertions of the writer himself, considerations about history and fiction, enlightenment about the myth Eva Perón and about the presence of necrophilia in the Argentinean history as well as an analysis of the literary portrait of Buenos Aires. All these elements will contribute for a clearer and comprehensive vision of the work and art of writing of this important Hispanic-American novelist.
