Training course in methodology of health research: an experience report

This article is an experience report about the development of the training course in methodology of healthresearch, which aimed at providing tools for the actors involved in the health assistance area, to enablethem to play their roles of investigators concerning problems which affect individuals and groups in theCollective Health context. This project is part of the theoretical advising activities of the National ReorientationProgram of Health Professional Training (Pro-Health) from the Nursing Course of Unochapecó. Threecourses have been offered so far. They were held in 2006, 2007 and 2008, with thirty vacancies each yearfor professionals, teachers and students from the Health area. The participants developed research projectsfocused on the problems in the Collective Health Area in Chapecó City, SC. Throughout this activity, aplace for integration and interaction was set among the several actors involved, as well as the possibilityof strengthening the bonds between the academy and the health services from the development of interinstitutionalresearch.Downloads
