Abstract

In this paper we report back to the fact that in the beginning of our history the care for the spiritual needs of the “sick being” was done by the nursing staff. Today it is at the levei of discourse, or nonofficial, resisting to accept the limitation of science. We must consider, however, that at the moment when there is a crying need, it is the nursing staff who is present.
