Abstract

The objective of PRODEN (Program for the Development of Nursing), created by the School of Nursing of UFMG, is to support nursing teaching institutions in the State of Minas Gerais to become nursing development poles, in order to implement programs for training nursing personnel through distance education. The data bank was created by de program evaluation committee, with the participation of student scholarship holders of PIBIC/CNPq, with the objective of collecting, organizing, recovering and distributing the information produced by the program. A software was developed to cover the needs of information shown by the program. The information is retrieved and distributed through the issuing of total and partial reports, which indicate the involvement of people in the program and the activities.
