Abstract

The objective of the present work is to analyze the clinical practice operated by mental health workers in the
daily work of a Psychosocial Attention Center (CAPS). It is a critical-analytical study with a qualitative approach developed
in Fortaleza-CE, in an unit of CAPS, with 14 mental health workers. The results express the effort in executing approaches
towards the human subjectivity in all attendance moments in CAPS. The therapeutic group permeates the initiatives of
intervening, of attending, of caring, and then it constitutes a strategy for the development of the therapeutic project. In
this way, the clinic psychosocial field is strengthened by the transversality of knowledges and the diversity of practices.
