About the Journal

The aims of AtoZ are as follows:To provide a venue for promoting greater visibility for young researchers who normally face difficulties when attempting to publish their first articles and/or works related to topics that have not yet been consolidated in traditional publication venues.

To create opportunities for dissemination of articles that have stemmed from theses, dissertations, term papers, and papers presented as requisites for course conclusion in the fields of information science, information management, information technology and knowledge management. To provide a venue for the publication of academic works that are directed towards methodological studies and interdisciplinary applications.

The journal AtoZ – New Practices in Information and Knowledge, affiliated with the Graduate Program in Information Management (PPGGI) at the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), was classified in Qualis A2 in the CAPES Quadriennial Evaluation 2021–2024. This result reinforces the journal’s scientific relevance and its role in disseminating knowledge in the fields of information science, management, and information technology.
