Our civilization is going through a crisis that threatens the living conditions of future generations. The imminence of socio-environmental and economic-political collapse manifests itself before a careful gaze. Despite the fact that innumerable scientists try to alert humanity, it does not clearly appreciate either the causes or the consequences of such a crisis. It is also not clear what it would have to do to stop or mitigate the phenomenon. In this study we focus on the role of a social actor that has been generally neglected and that, from our point of view, is key: the transnational corporation.
