A GRAMÁTICA DO BRASILEIRO: PERSPECTIVAS FORMAIS CONTEMPORÂNEAS

O volume pretende levantar as propriedades mais salientes que caracterizam a gramática da língua brasileira, aquela que está na boca do povo, que é falada em casa. Ao longo da história da sintaxe e, mais recentemente, da história da semântica, a língua brasileira (Br) tem desafiado modelos universalistas, em geral, centrados no inglês e nas línguas românicas. Os fatos sobre essa língua merecem ser conhecidos nacional e internacionalmente e sua pesquisa precisa ser aprofundada. Quais aspectos caracterizam a gramática dessa língua em suas múltiplas dimensões, da curva melódica aos atos de fala? Quais são as principais questões teóricas que podem avançar com a reflexão sobre essa língua? De que forma podemos caracterizar a gramática atual do brasileiro em suas diferentes facetas: fonética, fonológica, morfológica, sintática, semântica e pragmática? O volume aceita contribuições de diferentes metodologias de investigação formal sobre a gramática da língua brasileira, como a história da língua, a aquisição e a psicolinguística.

Convidamos os pesquisadores que trabalham dentro de modelos formais, cujo objeto de estudo é a gramática do brasileiro contemporâneo a submeterem trabalhos para esta edição especial que será publicada no Segundo Semestre de 2026.

As contribuições devem ser submetidas pela aba Submissões, na página da revista, e estarem de acordo com as Diretrizes para Autores.

The volume aims to highlight the most prominent properties that characterize the grammar of Brazilian Portuguese (Br), spoken informally, at home. Throughout the history of syntax and, more recently, semantic history, Br has challenged universalist approaches, generally centered on English and Romance languages. The facts about this language deserve to be nationally and internationally and their research needs to be deepened. What aspects characterize the grammar of this language in its multiple dimensions, from the melodic curve to the speech acts? What are the main theoretical issues that can advance reflection about this language? How can we characterize the current grammar of Brazilian in its different facets: phonetic, phonological, morphological, syntactic, semantic and pragmatic? The volume accepts contributions from different methodological approaches to the grammar of Br, such as the history of the language, language acquisition and psycholinguists.

We invite researchers working within formal models, whose object of study is the study is the grammar of contemporary Brazilian to submit papers for this special issue which will be out in September 2026.
