Abstract

The present article analyze how the Public Prosecution Service, institution conceived on Constitution Federal of 1988 to plead the regime democratic and the interests socials and individual unavailable, acted to accomplish the right to the education, in other words, the warranty by one social right formulated on law with right of all and duty of the State. For this, Infancy and Youth Public Prosecutor’s office of Justice from the municipality of Ribeirão Preto had been selected. This study shows the crescent actions on the last years, involving different requests: the request to access to Early Childhood education, the basic education, the school near to the children home, questioned the quality of education, incentives on the administration democratic of the public education, among other affairs. Another important aspect is the involvement from civil society on discussion from the priorities through the realization of publics’ audiences.
