A EXPERIÊNCIA DO COLÉGIO ESTADUAL DO CAMPO IRACI SALETE STROZAK E DA ESCOLA ITINERANTE HERDEIROS DO SABER

Abstract

This work is the result of the research project Sustainability, Rural Education and Agroecology: socio-productive organization and formative processes in rural settlements in Bahia, Paraná and Santa Catarina, whose investigation was supported by documentary, bibliographic and field research, focusing on the Iraci Salete Strozak State Rural School, located in the Marcos Freire Settlement, and the Herdeiros do Saber Itinerant School, located in the pre-settlement Herdeiros da Terra de 1° de Maio, both in the municipality of Rio Bonito do Iguaçu, in Paraná. The objective is to understand how rural schools include agroecology in the school curriculum and in the community. In the documentary research, the elaborations and practices of the schools around the relationship between Rural Education and Agroecology were gathered and organized. The field research took place in the school space with the description and analysis of the actions pertinent to the investigation. The bibliographical research and guided studies focused on deepening aspects related to the understanding of the relationship between Rural Education and Agroecology in the context of agrarian reform and rural schools, with the systematization of elements that constitute the materiality of the school. During the process of recognition and systematization, congruence was verified between the concrete needs of the school and the communities that integrate it and the practices developed within the school environment.
