There is a consensus that knowledge about medication administration plays a paramount role among current nursingdemands. This research aimed to implement and evaluate a distance education module entitled “Medication Administration” amongundergraduate Nursing students. We carried out a descriptive study in two phases: the first related to the implementation of theeducation module and the second to student evaluation. The module was implemented between 08/01 and 10/18/2005, totaling 50 hours. This included in-class meetings, classes through the Teleduc platform and laboratory classes. In general, students assessed the modulepositively and satisfactorily. This tool allowed students to use new technologies, providing a more conscious and stimulating learningexperience.
