Nowadays we notice that the traditional teaching approaches have become more and more insufficient to meet all the complexity demanded by the nursing professional education. Thus, dramatization stands out as a new strategy of teaching. It is a descriptive and sectional research, quantitative in nature, about the opinion of 199 first-year nursing students on the experience of participating in a dramatization held in the subject of nursing history and the importance of this tool in the learning process. An individual questionnaire, self-applicable with closed questions was used as an instrument of data collection. The results showed students favorable opinion to the use of dramatization in the teaching learning process.
