Resumen

Objetivo: Mapear la evidencia científica sobre los factores relacionados con el reingreso hospitalario temprano no planificado tras un Infarto Agudo de Miocardio.

Método: Revisión de alcance, realizada en 2025, en las bases de datos Biblioteca Virtual en Salud, PubMed, Cochrane Library, Web of Science y Scopus.

Resultados: Se seleccionaron 18 estudios. Los factores principales incluyeron sexo femenino, edad avanzada, menos de ocho años de escolaridad, tabaquismo, apnea del sueño, estancia hospitalaria de cuatro días o más, y comorbilidades crónicas como enfermedad renal, enfermedad cardiovascular, diabetes mellitus y enfermedad pulmonar obstructiva crónica.

Conclusión: Los reingresos están influenciados por múltiples factores clínicos, sociodemográficos, organizacionales y conductuales, lo que resalta la importancia de las estrategias de seguimiento post-egreso, los protocolos de transición asistencial y la articulación de la red de atención de salud orientada a mejorar la calidad de vida y optimizar los recursos disponibles.
