Revista de Investigações Constitucionais

The Journal of Constitutional Research, founded in 2014, is a four-monthly electronic scientific publication, with open access, promoted by NINC – Núcleo de Investigações Constitucionais (Constitutional Research Group) of the UFPR (Federal University of Paraná) Master of Laws and Doctorate in Law Programs (www.ninc.com.br). Its Editorial Board is composed of renowned scholars affiliated to universities in Brazil, Germany, Austria, Argentina, Australia, Chile, United States of America, Spain, Italy, Ireland and Venezuela.

The journal’s editorial line follows the main research areas developed by the research group (NINC), with focus on the critic study of Constitutional Law and the legal and political institutions, under the approach of democracy, state intervention, fundamental rights and justice theories, with a particular emphasis on issues inserted into the contact points with Public Law’s branches intimately connected with Constitutional Law, such as Administrative Law, Electoral Law and Theory of the State.

Currently, it is classified as Qualis A2 in the area of Law of CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Brazilian Ministry of Education).

Journal of Constitutional Research is classified as A2 by the Commission Qualis - Law Area of CAPES

 

The Commission Qualis - Law Area of CAPES (Coordination for the Improvement of Higher Education Personnel - Brazilian Ministry of Education) released the results of the evaluation for the year 2015, carried out during 2016. After evaluating 1656 journals that published in 2013, 2014 and 2015 articles written by professors, LLM and PhD candidates of the Law area of Brazilian institutions, the Commission classified the journals as A1 (highest), A2, B1, B2, B3, B4, B5 and C.

The Journal of Constitutional Research received the Qualis A2, level that ranked the Journal among the best national and foreign legal journals according to CAPES.
