Abstract

The paper analyzes the potential impact of blockchain on the management of copyright and related rights, from its attribution to the transfer to the end user of the creative work, through the licensing system. Star-ting from a careful reconstruction of the potentialities and the limits of distributed systems with regard to the new dynamics imposed by the digitization of crea-tive contents, we finally come to argue the need for a concrete and systematic approach for an effective va-lorization of authorial principles, even in the renewed technological context.
