The cooperative context and its importance for the child’s development
are described in this article. Following the Piagetian theory, these contexts
facilitate children’s intellectual and moral development. This taken to the
school environment implies an important change in the teacher’s role that
is the one of forming critical, cooperative and creative individuals.
