Policies for Inclusion: study in a state school in Belo Horizonte

This research, was conducted in the years 2007/08, in a state school in Belo Horizonte, focuses on inclusive education and “training” of their teachers. This search was prioritized the method quantitative-qualitative, making use of the questionnaire, documentary analysis and the interview. We collected these data: favorable to the inclusion of teachers, lack of training of teachers to work with special students, lack of suitable infrastructure and specialized resources, high number of students in classrooms, intensification of teaching. Briefly was observed is an “exclusionary inclusion”.
