Divergências e convergências entre o pensamento de Richard Falk com a Escola Inglesa: um estudo dos desafios hodiernos da seara internacional

O presente trabalho vai ao encontro de pontos essenciais para compreensão da atual conjuntura mundial, a partir das constatações de Richard Falk, em sua obra “Globalização Predatória”, e suas divergências e/ou convergências com a Escola Inglesa, com foco na leitura de Hedley Bull. Para tanto, apresentam-se as ideias de Falk e uma breve revisão da Escola Inglesa, para, posteriormente, verificar suas divergências e/ou convergências e, por fim, extrair de seus pensamentos uma noção para a atual conjuntura, apreendida sob uma perspectiva internacionalista. A justificativa do presente trabalho é a importância de demonstrar alternativas metodológicas aos estudos de Teoria das Relações Internacionais. O método utilizado é dedutivo, de pesquisa qualitativa.
