O conceito de “Responsabilidade ao Proteger”, na política externa brasileira contemporânea

Em setembro de 2011, a Presidenta brasileira, Dilma Rousseff, na abertura do Debate da 66ª Assembleia Geral das Nações Unidas, em Nova Iorque (EUA), proferiu discurso instando os países membros da Organização a desenvolverem, conjuntamente e, ao lado da ideia de responsabilidade “de” proteger, o conceito de responsabilidade “ao” proteger, o que se constituiu em uma inovação no trato do assunto.
