Abstract

Este artigo analisa as situações problemas referentes à pesquisa em uma instituição de saúde para a deliberação de bases a fim de construção de novos referenciais que pautam as ações em saúde e, nelas, a pesquisa. Entende-se ser pertinente refletir sobre o exercício da pesquisa em seres humanos para, com fundamento na bioética, reduzir riscos ao sujeito da pesquisa, bem como ao serviço de saúde. Portanto, apresentam-se as bases que se fundamentam as pesquisas em saúde e as situações problemas mais comumente encontradas como: confusão entre conceitos pesquisa, estudo e entrevista; descompasso nas informações requeridas e as disponíveis nos serviços; falta de apresentação de uma análise de mérito e de repercussões da pesquisa proponente; falta de um projeto de pesquisa com suas respectivas fases; inexistência do instrumento de consentimento informado a ser assinado pelos sujeitos da pesquisa; falta de comitês de ética em pesquisa nas instituições de ensino; e finalmente inadequado acompanhamento acadêmico do desenvolvimento das pesquisas e difusão ineficaz e insuficiente da norma regulamentadora de pesquisa em seres humanos – Resolução 196/1996. Finaliza-se a reflexão apontando a necessidade de articulação entre as instituições formadoras e as prestadoras de serviços de saúde para a análise de questões que envolvem pesquisa em seres humanos.
