Abstract

The main objective of this study is to discuss the learning in process in the movie Take the lead under a socio-historical perspective of learning, and also to value the use of extracurricular tools to offer the students valuable knowledge for their daily social practice. Some concepts on the subject’s constitution and how the social-historical perspective understands him (FREITAS, 2002) are discussed here. Besides that, this study address to the importance of teaching arts/culture for the moral and ethical values acquisition, relevant to the community of practice, in which the subject is inserted.
