Resumo

As manifestações dermatológicas decorrentes do tratamento oncológico comprometem a qualidade de vida e a funcionalidade dos pacientes, demandando ações multiprofissionais no âmbito da atenção integral à saúde. Nesse contexto, projetos de extensão universitária em fisioterapia dermatofuncional configuram-se como estratégias relevantes para o cuidado especializado, a formação discente e a produção de conhecimento aplicado à realidade dos serviços de saúde. O presente estudo teve como objetivo descrever o perfil clínico e sociodemográfico de pacientes oncológicos atendidos em um projeto de extensão universitária em fisioterapia dermatofuncional, destacando as principais manifestações cutâneas associadas ao tratamento antineoplásico. Trata-se de um estudo transversal retrospectivo, desenvolvido a partir da análise de prontuários de pacientes atendidos gratuitamente em um projeto de extensão universitária da Universidade Federal do Paraná. Foram analisados 45 prontuários, considerando variáveis sociodemográficas, clínicas e dermatológicas. Observou-se predomínio de mulheres (95,5%), com média etária de 46,9 ± 12,7 anos e maior prevalência de neoplasias mamárias (57,7%). A quimioterapia foi o tratamento oncológico mais frequente (66,6%), seguido de cirurgia (48,8%) e radioterapia (46,6%). As manifestações cutâneas  mais frequentes foram xerose (62,2%), edema (60,0%), alteração de sensibilidade (48,8%), queda capilar (41,9%) e descamação da pele (40,0%). Os achados evidenciam elevada demanda por cuidados dermatofuncionais no contexto oncológico e demonstram como a extensão universitária contribui simultaneamente para a atenção integral à saúde da comunidade, a formação profissional qualificada de estudantes e a integração ensino-pesquisa-extensão, contribuindo para a melhoria da qualidade de vida de pacientes oncológicos.
