Abstract

The author considers that the indiscipline present in the classrooms mayindicate the students’ lack of motivation of academic contents, teachingmethodologies that don’t benefit the significant learning or difficulties inthe teacher-student relation. Student’s learning motivation is characterizedin two forms: as a general aspect (intrinsic motivation), or as a situationalcondition (extrinsic motivation). The author differentiates the characteristicsof motivated students and of those unfounded students regarding to theschool learning and offers actions suggestions for the teacher to organizethe learning situation and to influence positively the students’ motivationlevel in the proposed activities.
