Conocimiento Tradicional y Salud Comunitaria: El Papel de las Plantas Medicinales en Dinde, Angola
El uso de plantas medicinales ha sido una parte integral del sistema de salud comunitaria en diversas culturas tradicionales alrededor del mundo. Este estudio explora el papel de las plantas medicinales en la comunidad de Dinde, en la provincia de Kwanza Sul, Angola, investigando la diversidad de especies utilizadas, el conocimiento tradicional asociado a su uso y su impacto en la salud de la población local. La investigación se realizó mediante entrevistas con sanadores tradicionales y miembros de la comunidad, así como una revisión de la literatura relevante. Los resultados indican que las plantas medicinales desempeñan un papel significativo en la prevención y tratamiento de enfermedades, contribuyendo a la salud colectiva y el bienestar de las personas de la región. Este trabajo busca resaltar la importancia de preservar el conocimiento tradicional y el potencial de las plantas medicinales para la salud pública, proponiendo un enfoque más integrado entre las prácticas tradicionales y los sistemas de salud modernos.
