É certamente para mim o momento de maior alegria, depois de mais de quatro anos à frente da direção da Faculdade de Direito da UFPR, poder celebrar este momento do centenário. Um momento em que exaltamos e celebramos a memória, uma memória forte, memória de cem anos, que nenhum daqueles que estão aqui presentes consegue, no seu tempo de vida, alcançar por inteiro. Mas que ainda assim é memória que finca raízes na dimensão simbólica que esta Escola e que este prédio Histórico evocam; memória e dimensão simbólica que nos unem a todos os que estamos aqui presentes, independentemente da trajetória que cada um tenha ou tenha tido na vida.
