CIVIL RESPONSIBILITY OF NURSING PROFESSIONALS IN CASE OF ERRORS IN ADMINISTRATION OF MEDICINES

The nursing professional, in the practice of health development, has several responsibilities, mainly concerning drug therapy. When administering medication, this professional, in the last stage of the procedure, faces a risk that turns from hypothetical to real. It matters, then, an analysis about his/her liability, be subjective or objective, in case of errors when exercise his/her job. This paper aims to study the liability that occurs in the absence of the duty to inform, and also that related to errors in drug therapy, thus making it possible to conclude about the nature of the liability regarding these professionals.
