Violencia patrimonial contra mujeres cometida por la pareja íntima

Objetivo: Identificar los factores asociados a la violencia patrimonial contra mujeres cometida por la pareja íntima entre 2016 y 2022 en Brasil.
Método: Estudio de base poblacional con datos del Sistema de Información de Agravios de Notificación sobre violencia patrimonial. Se analizaron variables sociodemográficas de las mujeres y características de la pareja íntima y de la violencia, ajustando un modelo de regresión múltiple de Poisson.
Resultados: Aumentó la ocurrencia de violencia patrimonial: color de piel negra, mestiza o amarilla, menor escolaridad, discapacidad de la víctima, sexo del (la) agresor(a) y recurrencia de la violencia. Los factores asociados a la disminución de la ocurrencia de violencia patrimonial fueron: ser anciana y casada/unión consensual, casos motivados por intolerancia religiosa, conflicto generacional, situación de calle, discapacidad u otras causas específicas y episodios ocurridos en escuelas, vías públicas o establecimientos como bares.
Conclusión: Los datos evidencian la necesidad de fortalecer políticas públicas orientadas a la prevención, identificación y enfrentamiento de la violencia patrimonial en el contexto de las parejas íntimas.
