EVALUACIÓN DE DESARROLLO EN FAMILIAS DE PERSONAS CON CONDUCTA SUICIDA: APLICACIÓN DEL MODELO CALGARY

Abstract

Objetivo: describir los acontecimientos que marcaron el desarrollo de la familia de personas con conducta suicida.

Metodología: estudio basado en el Modelo Calgary de Evaluación de la Familia. Participaron nueve familias de usuarios del Centro de Estudio y Prevención del Suicidio, en Salvador, Bahía, Brasil. La recolección de datos se realizó online, entre noviembre de 2021 y mayo de 2022. Las preguntas fueron previamente estructuradas en un formulario basado en el MCEF. Las entrevistas fueron transcriptas y después pasaron por los procesos de transcreación y textualización.

Resultados: entre las categorías que surgieron se destacan: Experiencia de violencia intrafamiliar como factor precipitante de la conducta suicida en el ciclo de vida de las familias; Renuncia a sí mismo para priorizar el cuidado de la persona con conducta suicida; y Vínculo con animales como factor de protección contra la conducta suicida en el desarrollo de la familia de personas con conducta suicida.

Conclusión: al dilucidar dichos acontecimientos es posible vincularse e intervenir en los conflictos, así como también utilizarlos como factores de protección contra el intento de suicidio.
