BRAZILIAN SCIENTIFIC PRODUCTION ABOUT THE NURSING ACTIVITIES SCORE: AN INTEGRATIVE REVIEW

Abstract

This integrative revision of the literature aimed to identify the profile of Brazilian scientific productions about the Nursing Activities Score and analyze the results in evidence from 2002 to 2010. 17 articles were elected from the following databases: Coordination for Improvement of Higher Education Personnel (CAPES, in Portuguese), Latin-American and Caribbean Literature in Health Sciences; Nursing database; Publisher Medline; Scientific Electronic Library Online and the Brazilian Institute for Information in Science and Technology. The terms Nursing Activities Score and Nursing Workload were used. In the publications, the researchers found the identification of the Nursing Activities Score average, observation of the most heavily-scored elements, the correlation with rates of seriousness and other instruments of dimensioning of personnel, such as application to elderly clients, as much prospective as retrospective, and, further, its creation in informatized form. The goal of viabilizing its use as a practical tool in nursing management is inferred.

possui graduação em Enfermagem pela Universidade Federal do Piauí (2005). É Mestranda no Curso de Ciências e Saúde e especialista em Saúde da Família pela UFPI.Tem espeialização em Terapia Intensiva pela FATEC. Trabalhou como enfermeira intensivista do INSTITUTO DE DOENÇAS TROPICAIS NATAN PORTELA e atualmente exerce a função no HOSPITAL DE URGÊNCIA DE TERESINA(HUT). Tem experiência na área de Enfermagem, com ênfase em TERAPIA INTENSIVA. É também docente da Associação de Ensino Superior do Piauí (AESPI).

Lídya Tolstenko Nogueira, Universidade Federal do Piauí

Enfermeira graduada pela Escola Paulista de Enfermagem, atual UNIFESP, em 1970. Especialista em Saúde Pública (EPE, 1971), Metodologia do Ensino e da Assistência de Enfermagem (EEAN/UFRJ, 1977), Administração Hospitalar (PUC-RJ, 1978). Mestre e Doutora em Enfermagem pela Escola de Enfermagem Anna Nery/UFRJ (1981 e 1996, respectivamente). Integra o quadro de docentes da UFPI desde 1975 e atualmente exerce atividades no Curso de Enfermagem e nos Programas de Mestrado em Ciências e Saúde e no Programa de Mestrado en Enfermagem

Kátia Grillo Padilha, USP- São Paulo

Possui graduação em curso de Graduação em Enfermagem pela Universidade de São Paulo (1975), mestrado na área de Administração de Serviços de Enfermagem pela Universidade de São Paulo (1985) e doutorado em Enfermagem pela Universidade de São Paulo (1994). Desde 2007 é Professor Titular da Universidade de São Paulo, atuando no âmbito do ensino e pesquisa em Enfermagem na Saúde do Adulto e do Idoso, em particular, em Unidade de Terapia Intensiva (UTI). Tem vários artigos publicados em periódicos nacionais e internacionais. Desenvolve investigações na linha de pesquisa segurança do paciente, com enfoque nos eventos adversos no decorrer do atendimento à saúde, e suas implicações na qualidade dos serviços. Orienta alunos de doutorado, mestrado e iniciacação científica na temática referida desde 1994. É líder do Grupo de Pesquisa Enfermagem em UTI desde o ano de 2000.
