It’s a qualitative study developed from the understanding that education on health is one of the pillars of the
Community Health Agents-CHA work. The objective of this research was to understand the conception of this theme by
CHA. The sample was non-probabilistic by saturation. Data was analyzed through the Coletive subject discourse technique.
Three central ideas were unveiled from the CHA speeches regarding health education: educate by example, to present
lectures and guidance, and that is something hard to do. It was concluded that the CHA knowledge about health education
is based on the traditional conception of education.
