Intellectual Property and Terms of Use

Author's Responsibility:

Regarding authorship, authors must specify, on the identification page, the type of individual contribution made during the preparation of the article, according to the criteria established by the ICMJE, available at: http://www.icmje.org/recommendations/browse/roles-and-responsibilities/defining-the-role-of-authors-and-contributors.html.

It is important to highlight that there are four minimum authorship criteria, and all those designated as authors must meet them:

  1. Substantial contributions to the conception or design of the work; or the acquisition, analysis, or interpretation of data for the work;

  2. Drafting the work or reviewing it critically for important intellectual content;

  3. Final approval of the version to be published;

  4. Agreement to be accountable for all aspects of the work, ensuring that questions related to the accuracy or integrity of any part of the work are appropriately investigated and resolved.

No addition or change of authorship will be allowed during the evaluation stage or after acceptance of the submitted text.
