Three varieties of Sorghum (Sorghum bicolor (L.) Moench)r with different endosperm, were obtained from Centro Nacional de Pesquisa de Milho e Sorgo, Sete Lagoas - Minas Gerais - Brasil. They were mechanicaly processed sucessively on different humidity levels and extracted on a "Kepler" test mill, funishing several fractions, wich were classified according to their granulometric grade. The values for protein, fat, ash and fiber decreseased with the increase of extraction levels in the mill. The granulometric classification showed increase in retention in the screen of 14 and 28 mesh by the elevation of the humidity levels on the mill. The yield values showed a decrease in % after increasing the level of extraction, as expected. The final results presented an increasing retention time on the mill.Downloads
