MAIN APPLE (Pyrus malus , L.) VARIETIES CULTIVATED IN PARANA STATE (BRAZIL)

Abstract


The varieties of apples (Pyrus malus, L.) cultivated in the State of Paraná are between the better of the world. Although the majority need a large number of the hours of the low temperature for his development desirable, the apples here yield have good productivity and quality. The main varieties growed and corrnnents general (production, physical chemicals and organoleptics characteristics) are presented in this work.
