Newsletters e E-mails Marketing da Brasil Paralelo: o caso da Lei Rouanet

This article provides a content analysis of newsletters and e-mails marketing from the company Brasil Paralelo, using the promotion of the documentary-movie "Aos Amigos a Lei" (To our Friends, the Law) which examines the Rouanet Law for a case study. The study aims to analyze how Brasil Paralelo uses their email list to grow their streaming subscriber base and spread their political and ideological views. The findings indicated that corruption is the primary topic discussed, mostly in newsletters. In addition, though it is not mentioned, Brasil Paralelo uses screenshots of articles from mainstream journalism to support its claims.
