This article maps the research landscape on disinformation within the field of Communication in Brazil. Based on a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) of 62 articles published between 2018 and 2023, we analyze their theoretical foundations, methodological approaches, and the solutions proposed to tackle the phenomenon. The results reveal a theoretical concentration on a few authors from the Global North and a predominance of qualitative methods, with a tendency toward analytical fragmentation and gaps in methodological description. The proposed solutions focus on three main axes: media literacy, fact-checking, and science communication. It is concluded that the field, although methodologically active, requires greater theoretical diversity and analytical integration to advance in the systemic understanding of disinformation in the Brazilian context.
