ABSTRACT
An evaluation of the use of Probiotics developed at the Laboratory from many microorganism strains has been carried out. A total of 1600 broilers were used in a completely randomized block designed under four treatments: 1. Broilers treated with antibiotic but without probiotic; 2. Without antibiotic and without probiotic; 3. With probiotic A (Lactobacillus fermentum LPB); 4. With probiotic B (pool of microorganism strains: L. acidophillus, L. fermentum LPB, L. plantarum A6, Saccharomyces boullardii). No significant differences between the treatments with or without probiotics were observed in the results obtained which also showed no effect on the performance of the broilers.
