This paper reports on results of an electronic survey of research on discourse produced in the past five years (i.e. 2004-2009) by the Catholic University of Louvain, Belgium. Its aims is to map out the themes, methodologies, theoretical frameworks, and epistemologies of such research. The contribution of this study is addressed to Critical Literacy researchers since this field has been mostly informed by theoretical perspectives on discourse.
