CALL FOR CHAPTER PROPOSALS
We are pleased to announce an extended deadline for the submission of chapter proposals for the proposed edited volume:
«Innovation and the Common Good: Public Policy and the Challenges of Collective Interest», currently under preparation for publication by Palgrave Macmillan.
The volume will explore how the public purposes of innovation are defined, negotiated, institutionalised, and contested across different political and policy contexts.
We welcome contributions addressing:
• Conceptual and theoretical foundations
• Governance and regulation for the common good
• Innovation, emerging technologies, and the common good
• Innovation policy, collective provision, and universal economic security
• Citizen participation and public deliberation
• Comparative case studies and empirical applications
Proposals introducing other relevant theoretical, methodological, epistemic, or empirical perspectives are also very welcome.
📄 Submission requirements
Extended abstract of approximately 800–1,000 words, excluding references, including:
• Proposed chapter title and relevant thematic section
• Research question and objectives
• Theoretical contribution and methodological approach
• Expected contribution to the volume
• Up to five keywords and 5–10 references
• Authors’ names, affiliations, and e-mail addresses
• A short biographical note of approximately 100 words per author
